Passport Requirements
Government legislation requires that every pony must have a passport. The society issues passports for previously registered Highland ponies at a cost of £20 each. Owners should bring passports when travelling with their ponies, as trading standards officers check documentation at shows.
All ponies applying for passports must be microchipped, with the number recorded on the application.
